It took 2 hire cars, 4 taxis, an impromptu trip it Florence from Bologna to get to one of the cars, a rescheduled ferry crossing as foot passengers and a lot of phone calls to get us back but they did it. 10 out of 10 to Ingrid and her colleagues in the Lyon centre. We have yet to recover our van back to the UK but part one of the saga has ended well. It didn't go smoothly but life is like that. Whatever problem we encountered, the solution was always the same; phone the Lyon centre and get them to sort things out, which they always did.
