Remote control Locks on Ford Focus V registration

I have a Ford Focus V registration, which generally speaking is a good runner (touch wood).

One slight problem with it is that I can be driving along quite nicely and suddenly the door locks click for no apparent reason.

I wonder whether it is interference from another car nearby or another form of interference.

Is it likely that someone could break into the car because of this?
