Getting around for cheaper insurance

Ok guys I want to know if it's possible to get cheaper insurance after getting caught drink driving

I have a full Lithuanian passport, I have lived in the UK for 12 years, I got caught drink driving and I am currently banned

I'm wondering if I was to go to lithuania pass my test there and return to the UK after my ban was over would I get cheaper insurance than if I were to get a UK licence, is there any way around this.. I don't wanna be paying £6000 for insurance... as I am sure you guys wouldn't either

Or if you guys got any other ideas please be of assistance
