Hi All,
would really like some assistance here if possible please. I was parked within a parking bay (pavement parking) behind a Morrison's online delivery truck when I noticed the driver offloading to deliver the grocery shopping. I didn't think much of it like most of us so I went about minding my own business. Upon my return to the car within about 10 minutes, I discovered to my disbelief that my bonnet was smashed, dented, bent and the front grill broken. It was clear the driver had reversed into my vehicle and decided not to leave any note on my windscreen and simply drove off.
Prior to visiting the local store to speak to a manager I tried to find out if there was anyone at the scene at the time of the incident but to no avail. The manager of the store I visited said that normally the company will happily address the issue and that the trucks normally have cameras too. (Am sceptical).
I phoned the customer service thereafter and was told the relevant team will be in touch. Am still waiting.
Where do I stand in this, what shall I do and how can I ensure I don't end up footing the bill not lose my ncb from my insurance please? And what is the likelihood that the supermarket giant will "put things right"?
I am still in shock and disbelief. Your valuable advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.
