My Meriva B 1.7CDTi Auto was main dealer serviced 6 weeks ago and has covered 1,400 miles since the service.Yesterday I checked the oil life using the cars system it is already down to 74%. It has had several trips over 100 miles since the service.I also use Wynns DPF cleaner every 3 months.
How does the DPF cleaning work? does the car run a regular cycle say every month/miles or is it done by a sensor? Earlier in the year my wife made a round trip of over 100 miles which was all motorway.Two weeks later with the car only covering another 40 miles we got a code 55 error and it had to be taken down the motorway.The DPF warning light never comes on.
