I currently have a 2004 clio dci 65. Since back last year I've been having problem upon problem with it. When I bought it I had it serviced and found out it had been running on red diesel. I paid for all this to be sorted. Back last year I had loads of problems with it not starting or cutting out whilst driving and not starting again. Most of the time it would cut out I was able to jump start it or bump start it. After a while this solution wouldn't work so I bought a new battery. For a while the new battery seemed to have worked until it started playing up again. I spent a lot of money going to different garages who said that it was bad electrics. When I had it back from the garages it would work tidy for a while and then it would stop working. I had more work done on the 'electrics' back in January and again it's been working fine until now. It failed to start again last week. It would turn over but not start. My stop and battery light are on and keep flickering and also my glow plug light is on. I sprayed "holts easy start" into it and it started . I have a diagnostic tester and the code p0089 came up (fuel injection fault). I am at my last straw with this car now I just want it running tidy to sell. I have heard so many different solutions that I was wondering does anyone have any recommendations or have had this same problem that could help. I don't want to spend much money on this as I have already spent hundreds of pounds on it and I don't want to be buying loads of parts If I can find out exactly what is causing the problem and just fix that.
