I was hoping to get some advice - i really try and pinpoint problems myself before rushing off to a garage and do not want to be thought of as a daft woman who knows nothing about cars, BUT! can anyone help me with my car radio problem? I recently had to have a new battery fitted and obviously the radio would have to be re-coded. Not having the code to hand i turned the radio off and after 3 days of driving in silence went to re-code it (as eventually found the code!) only for the radio to be dead! it will not turn on at all for me to be able to put the code in. Do i need to take radio out and check the back or try the fuses in the fuse panel? Really frustrating as can find my way around the engine but when it comes to electrical bits ....... well! If anyone can give me pointers in the right direction would be grateful.
