M25 breakdown.

On Saturday we broke down on the M25. Contacted the RAC and waited over 1 hour on the hard shoulder for an engineer. he was miserable, unfriendly didnt even look at the car, and proceeded to tell us to get our vehicle recovered to Chester we would have to pay £417, he then left us without telling us and we waited another hour plus for the recovery vehicle. It was a hot day we had our daughter and our dog with us and felt very vulnerable sitting on the embankment, which wasn't easy to get up as it was overgrown and a steep incline. Poor service considering we were classed as priority being on the motorway. Needless to say I'm not happy with this service and will be looking elsewhere for cover. We also had wrong information from another employee earlier in the week, who told us we had to get the key code re calibrated which cost us £170. we did not need to do this as it was an electrical problem to do with the fan for the engine cooling system. He was however as helpful and friendly as he could be and rang us on several occasions afterwards to see how we were getting on with the car.
