Sorry to read the previous post and fully understand the annoyance. Fortunately I had an exemplary experience.
On August 31st whilst holidaying in the Lake District our cars clutch burnt out. Fortunately we were able to get it parked (Patterdale Road) near Bowness. The RAC patrolman, I believe his name is Jim, was with us in less than 45 minutes. He was excellent. The situation was calmly and professionally assessed. Our options were explained and we decided to use an RAC approved garage.
He was quickly in contact with Lakeland Motor Centre in Kendal and with the minimum of fuss we were taken there. His pleasant and friendly manner made what is a stressful situation much easier.
The service we received from Lakeland Motor Centre was exemplary in all aspects. It was top quality people doing top quality work. They were extremely helpful and skilled. We felt valued as customers. A truly Carling experience. Although nobody enjoys car bills it was well earned and we were happy to pay it. I recommend them without reservation. Driving home the car was like it was when we first bought it !
No organisation is perfect but I think this excellent service was. It could not have been done better.
