Got an issue here and wondering if anyone has any tips.
Notice the ignition lights when i took the key out, were first told Alternator issue, as the car wouldnt attempt to turn over, but the keys worked perfect as usual for radio/windows. ignition lights on only, i took battery off, upon placing battery bk on i got the fix light sign but no codes (ped trick / coder reader)
Found out if was the barrel when i took the casing of, the piece what connect to the switch snapped, i was told to pop key in, switch it over with a screw driver, it attempted to start and that was it, (unusual as this should start this way)
Ordered a universal barrel of ebay, Zafira A type on there, changed this over, popped the chip from old key to uni one for the code, and it attempted to start as above but fails. (im getting code now via the flashes unlike before with the ped trick, which flashes all 3 immobilers issues, however a coder read plugged in doesnt show any codes) Bizzare.
ive checked fuses, ive tried chip in old key and place it under as it should work im just getting it attempting to start but getting know where, immobiler issue is somewhere, and i think this starting issue is something else as it did this with old barrel/screw driver with no immoilber issue. if anyone can give me some tips, i would be so greatfull.
