The other day we decided to go into town by bus. Returning by the same method, one of the bus driver's colleagues remained on the platform. During the four miles or so journey, he never stopped talking (rather loudly) and seemed to get in the way of people getting on or off the bus. At one point the driver ran a red light at which I felt he had time to stop, and it made me wonder if this persistent chatterer caused it. I was going to point out to him that he was required to enter the bus sufficiently to be behind the drivers view, as for any other person on the bus. My wife hushed me and said not to "cause a scene", so I concurred. In reality, should I have made my feelings known to this bus employee?
