1.9 Pd engine.
Work colleague purchased this car and the morning after getting it home it took quite a lot of cranking to fire up.
This morning it would not start at all so i took the bleed screw out of the filter and cycled the ignition a few times, fuel then came out and it started up ok. I put a new filter in it today just to try something, no fault codes are logged.
A few hours later it would not start again and it was the same issue. Its obviously dragging in air somewhere but i cant find anything obvious.
It has the paper type removable fuel filter with 4 pipes and the removable top.
Are there any common points on these for air to enter the system?
