Hi, I retired from work 3 years ago and the odd time since then I have done little jobs for close friends and family in the capacity of my former employment (carpet fitter) and without payment, I am only giving them my free time.
If for any reason I was pulled over by police or involved in a traffic accident and I was carrying the tools of my trade in my boot, what impact might this have on my insurance.
By this I mean, would I need to have business cover on my insurance when I am not working for financial gain?
