I have an 02 Ford fiesta finesse 1.4 it's a tdci and drives perfectly fine. For the last month my oil light keeps flickering when I'm below 1 rev, or coming on fully when my foot is on the clutch or if I'm in neutral after I've been driving for a little bit. My dad is a garage mechanic/MOT tester and he has changed the oil twice and the oil pressure switch with no change. Also my speedometer dial keeps dropping and staying like that for different amounts of time, my dad cleaned the circuit board which stopped it for a while but it's doing it again. He also ran a diagnostic and 2 codes came up showing that it was in the dashboard area so we know it's nothing to do with the engine. I was wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or knows what it may be, I'm guessing it's an electrical problem, maybe a shortage somewhere?
