I have a Toyaota Avensis 2002 1.8 Vermont VVTi petrol. The bonnet release has failed. I have removed the driver side fascia and released the pull lever to try and pull the release wire with pliers. No effect. Any ideas would be gratefully received as I have to charge the battery and move it by Monday morning.
